" HOLY CANNOLI !!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Leave the cannoli, take the marijuana. A Nassau County correction officer was arrested and due in court Thursday on charges he tried to smuggle marijuana into the jail _ stashed inside a box of the Italian pastries.Rocco Bove, 24, of Westbury, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into the discovery of pot inside the box. Police say Bove dropped off the box for an unidentified inmate on Christmas Eve, and when officers checked it, they found the marijuana, along with rolling papers, matches and a flint pad.The drugs were actually inside the cannoli, Nassau County Police spokesman Kevin Smith said.It was "enough so someone could have a little personal consumption around Christmastime," Smith said. He said police believe Bove removed the cream filling in the tube-shaped shells of fried pasta, stashed the pot inside in plastic bags, and then refilled the shells.Bove was suspended without pay and scheduled to be arraigned on charges of promoting prison contraband and unlawful possession of marijuana. His attorney did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment.Lt. Michael Golio of the Correction Department's legal affairs office said Bove was hired in April 2005 and was assigned to a security platoon. He said the department would not comment on the arrest but noted it was cooperating with ongoing investigations.A statement from the correction officers' union said it is conducting its own investigation. "The Sheriff Officers Association takes all incidents of improper conduct very seriously," the statement said. Approximately 1,100 officers oversee about 1,800 inmates at the facility in East Meadow. People never cease to amaze me.. I just crack up at these stories... Note to self..Watch out for Green Cannoli's !!!!!!!

"What Ive learned "

"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights." How true this is...

Yes, Its gonna be a boy! Wow... Im really excited to finally have a boy in the family. I have 4 sisters whom I love and adore,( Ok one sister we call our brother ) but the change in testosterone is a welcome thing. The journey so far has been interesting to say the least. For so long I could never picture myself as a mom, I could never imagine being pregnant and how that would feel. Right now Im 18 weeks. My body is staring to change in ways I didn't think where possible. My waste line is slowly fading away. And my stomach is slowing becoming tighter and tighter. Meat ta Balla !!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting A detective suspended after testing positive for drugs says his wife served him meatballs spiked with marijuana because she wanted to keep him out of harm's way by forcing him into retirement. An administrative judge believed him, and recommended this week that Anthony Chiofalo be reinstated.Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly has yet to decide what to do."We can't comment because the matter will still come before the police commissioner for a final determination," said spokesman Paul Browne.Chiofalo, a 22-year-veteran assigned to the Joint Terrorism Task Force, was suspended without pay last year after a random drug test found marijuana in his system. The officer denied ever using drugs and demanded a hearing.During an investigation, his wife said she had substituted marijuana for oregano in her meatball recipe in hopes of forcing him to leave police work. The detective's lawyers also presented evidence that she had passed a lie-detector test, and offered testimony from a toxicologist that the excuse was valid. Too Funny.. Thats would I would have said to- Gotta love these pot stories !!!

Tired of being tired

Ok so I'm one of the fortunate people in this world that has had ZERO morning sickness. But- I feel as a pregnant woman that it is my duty to bitch about something ! Ok, maybe not- But- I digress.. IM growing very tired of being tired. I used to be able to function quite well on 4 to 6 hours of sleep. I think I last took an hour nap maybe- 10 years ago>> While sick with the fleu.. I just don't take naps.. NOT NOW.. All that's changed.. I typically become exhausted by the site of a couch and or bed. I don't think I have ever been to bed before 11 until now. Its a whole new world.. Well worth it I might add, but new. Some days, it takes all my strength just to get in the shower and get dressed, and IM only 13 weeks along.. Geez ! I wonder if I can hire people to carry me everywhere when Im 7 or 8 months along? Humm.. I need to look into that .. On another note- My little sister just told me she is expecting as well.. Thank god we are in 2 separate states, otherwise Im sure we would wind up killing each other with the raging hormones among us. Hell, I cry at anything now- I hate that to-It has become downright embarrassing at times. I get reminder pregnancy emails that suck- Only 189 more days until the baby's here ! Hurray ! It mine as well say you have 189 more days to try not to piss everyone in your life off, to continually cry over stupid shit, and to take everything personally. Oh and 189 more days of feeling like you have only slept 1 hour a nite.. Yeah !!! While Im sure all of this seems very negative- I am very happy to be able to have a baby- Its definitely challenging carrying one. I have a feeling that the challenges have only just begun.. I only have one? How the hell do women survive multiple baby's ? Lord.. Im going to start counting my blessings- and locking myself in a room ( with a bed of course ) : )
