WHAT A WEEK

Morning yall, I haven't posted in a while, I know, I don't think anyone reads this damn thing anyway- Actually I did post, then received a smart ass comment- so I deleted the post- I know what spell check is- I put myself through college- screw off- thanks!!!! Moving on- well, its been an exciting week here at the house. Last Thursday started the chain of events that would lead to a miserable week ahead- Lets see- Our a/c went out last week, 247 dollars later- its fixed, I get a call from my husband Thursday telling me he's been electrocuted at work and fell off a 10ft ladder- because some dumb ass didn't safety a wire- He says he's ok- auh huh- 3 days later he's still in the hospital-we go through all of last week with him being barley able to move around- Friday started with not to much excitement- Saturday was another story- The lights went out- our a/c started leaking, our sheet rock has been damaged, our roof has tiles missing, there is water damage in one of our bedroom from the roof, etc etc etc.. BUT- we now have lights and the a/c has been fixed AGAIN. Apparently- we are supposed to put bleach in our a/c drain every 6 months or so, so it doesn't get clogged??? OK, I haven't heard of this one?? So any one who owns a home- don't forget the bleach !!!Then- in the entire area I live in- the unimaginable happens- the cable goes out- auh !!!!!! Its back on now- Whew !! So, its been an exciting couple of weeks, I just wanted everything to go back to normal- I spent all day yesterday getting my ass chewed by my dealers on loans that where there fault to begin with -so I guess things are moving back to normal after all !!! Until next time..

"You pay a great deal too dear for what's given freely". Quote (Act I, Scene I)

Glad To Be Home

I'm very happy to be back from Mexico. Although I love the people, the culture and the beaches, it's not the U.S.A. We all take so many things for granted, like our food. I could not wait to go to Popeyes when we got in. I don't think I had one decent meal the entire time we where there. BUT- The beach was amazing, crystal clear. Beautiful. We stayed on the Myan Riviera-I highly recommend it. : )

No Mas Cruise : (

Well, Just when my life isn't interesting enough, the cruise line called and said- "the cruise is cancelled".. I was informed that our cruise line is helping the victims of Louisiana by giving up there ships for them for 6 months..Which is a very noble thing of them considering they will be lousing TONS of money- So, I got on the wire yesterday with a family friend who happens to be a travel agent- and begged her to find us something in Mexico- So- We fly out in the morning- We are staying at a 5 star resort north of playa de carmen- I haven't been to this part of Mexico yet so I'm excited to see it. I hear the beach there is the best- This is my husband's first time out of the country- so I hope he has a good time, because I love Mexico- and I intend to go back.. Anyway, all's well that ends well I guess. We did get a cruise voucher for 100 bucks each to use before next December- soo, I guess the cruise has just been postponed that's all. I'll write when we get back ...Until next time.. Adios Amigos !!!

Hurricane Katrina

Well, so far its been a long long week, Ive been REALLY busy at work, which is a good thing, my aunt V is coming into town and staying a couple of days. I'm excited to see her, and for her to see my house. Today, the Louisiana citizens are descending upon our Astrodome. I feel so bad for them. My heart breaks when I see people crying asking where there family members are. The storm has really put things in prospective for many people, especially for me. I have a headache- so freckin what? Ive had a bad day..SO ??? At least I have a home to go to and I know where my family is. The situation in the south is horrible.. I hope everyone is doing what they can to help. I just heard on the news there are at least 5,000 people in the dome right now. I cant even begin to imagine what these people are feeling. We all take so much for granted, even down to water to drink..I hope the best for all of them, and I for one will do what I can to help...
