For those of you who actually read this - and know me personally- then you know who Markie is. She is my grandma- and BOY is she one of a kind ! Markie has been really sick- How she has managed to get through kemo and surgeries and countless blood and platelet tranfusions, Ill never know- I bitch when my shoulder hurts- or when My ear hurts-what the hell is wrong with me? Every time I see her or talk to her- Im slapped back down to reality- I don't have it bad at all. Im not in a fight for my life.. and- If I was - Im not sure if I would have been able to endure what she has. She has the will of an ox- and the heart of a lion- ooh and she makes the best damn Greek food on the planet... I love you Markie- Happy Birthday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
