"Daddy's at Work "
As many of you know, my brother is in Iraq right now, for the 2nd time I might add... While I agree that Sadam's rule needed to end, I often wonder at what cost.. I never really knew the impact on peoples lives that are in the military until my brother joined the Army and was deployed for the first time.. Everyday we all hope for the best. We all hope that they will come home safe. My heart breaks everytime I hear my sister cry for her husband. My heart breaks every time my 3 yr old niece gets on the phone and says " daddy's at work ". They both miss him terribly.. I cant imagine the worry they both go through on daily basis. I have the utmost appreciation for not only our soldiers- but their family's that are left to worry for up to a year at a time..They are the ones living for our country- The family's are the backbone of the soldiers. You think your week, you think your alone, you have no family around you, you ache for them to return, yet your there to support them, and you sacrifice everything to be with them. So in short.. Thank you not only to you Daniel for fighting for our country and the betterment of the people of Iraq, but thank you Katie for being a strong enough person to endure what I think I could not. Your strength and your love will guide Kaylee into becoming a beautiful , strong, loving woman one day- And your husband will never doubt he is loved..This is your job.. This is what you are here for.. This is your purpose. This YOU COMPLETE on a daily basis..No matter what anyone says.. I Love you, and I'm very very proud of you..Your are stronger than you know...
